Role Overview - Demand Planner
The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts and ensuring effective alignment between supply and demand within a global distribution environment. This role requires strong analytical capability, cross-functional collaboration, and experience working with SAP and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) systems.

The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts and ensuring effective alignment between supply and demand within a global distribution environment. This role requires strong analytical capability, cross-functional collaboration, and experience working with SAP and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) systems.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Develop, maintain, and deliver accurate demand forecasts using SAP and IBP systems
- Analyse historical sales data, market trends, and customer demand signals to improve forecast accuracy
- Monitor forecast performance and implement corrective actions where required
- Act as a key liaison between commercial, logistics, and supply chain teams
- Ensure alignment between demand forecasts, inventory levels, and distribution requirements
- Support effective planning of stock movement across multiple international markets
- Collaborate with export and commercial teams to support international order planning and fulfilment
- Ensure demand planning activities align with regulatory and distribution requirements across markets
- Support high service levels through effective stock availability planning
- Lead demand review meetings and provide insights to key stakeholders
- Deliver clear reporting and analysis to support business decision-making
- Maintain strong communication across cross-functional teams
- Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities within the demand planning process
- Support ongoing improvements to forecasting tools, processes, and systems
- Contribute to improving efficiency and reliability across the distribution network
- 5+ years’ experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a related role
- Strong experience with SAP and IBP systems
- Proven track record in forecasting within a distribution or supply chain environment
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience working with logistics, distribution, and international markets
- Degree qualified in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field
- Detail-oriented, commercially aware, and highly organised
