Primary Care Representative – Leinster
Our client is an established pharmaceutical company and is seeking a Primary Care Sales Representative to promote their product to GPs across the Leinster region.
They are looking to recruit a commercially aware primary care sales representative with at least 3 years’ experience, preferably in the diabetes market.
The role is a full time fixed term contract position.
Responsibilities
- Achieve territory market share and sales forecasts.
- Develop, agree and implement territory action plans based on a thorough analysis of the territory, with clear and measurable coverage / frequency /activity objectives to drive business results.
- Identify and develop new customers / customer groups that are important for business results.
- Be accountable for driving best practice in customer service and achieving agreed objectives / activities.
- Maintain and share knowledge of therapy area, company products and competitor activity.
- Demonstrate a high level of teamwork at all times sharing best practice with colleagues and participating in promotional action plans.
- Report within the company formats and timelines on all business activities including customer information and call reporting data
- Ensure full compliance with local and company processes and regulations.
Essential Skills
- Excellent account planning and organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing/persuasive skills
- ‘Can do’ attitude who gets things done – able to work on own as well as in teams
- Evidence of a successful sales track record
- Can demonstrate evidence of networking within Primary Care and knowledge of the primary care environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- A background in science, nursing or related discipline and / or has passed the Medical representative Institute of Ireland examination
