Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager

Force Recruitment have partnered with a longstanding Irish Vitamin and Supplements company based in Dublin, to hire a Quality & Compliance Manager on a part-time, permanent basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work with a strong team in a flexible working environment. This role reports to the Managing Director and is responsible for 1 QA Executive.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the management of the company’s Quality Management System including but not limited to the following;

    • Change Control

    • Customer/Vendor Complaints

    • Vendor/Supplier Approval & management

    • Artwork Approval

    • Internal/External Audits

    • Documentation Control System

    • Recall System

    • Deviation System

    • Risk Management

    • Site Training

    • HACCP management

    • Management Review

    • Product Quality Reviews

  • Ensure compliance with cGMP, cGDP and current food regulations

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives

  • Act as the primary contact for competent authorities and act as lead in hosting competent authority inspections

  • Ensure that the company’s Wholesale Distribution Authorisation and Manufacturing Authorisation are maintained up to date and submit variations to the competent authority where updates/changes are required

  • Collaborate closely with other internal department


Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • BSc in a related discipline

  • 2+ years Quality Management Experience

  • Min 6 months, full time direct GDP experience

  • Strong knowledge of GMP and GDP Requirements
