- Maintain awareness of relevant industry guidance, standards and regulatory developments.
- Monitor competitor activity, market developments and emerging customer requirements.
- Work closely with technical, applications, service and wider commercial teams to deliver the right solution for the customer.
- Take ownership of the territory and proactively identify opportunities to grow the business.
- Contribute ideas, creativity and innovation to improve sales performance and customer engagement.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a commercially driven technical sales professional who is comfortable working autonomously and building a territory.
You will ideally bring:
- 3–5+ years' B2B technical sales experience.
- Experience selling into the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical-device, electronics or other high-technology manufacturing sectors.

- Strong customer orientation and consultative selling skills.
- The ability to understand technical requirements and communicate their commercial value.
- Confidence presenting to customers and speaking at industry events or conferences.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with strong individual accountability.
- Ability to work independently from a home-based office while spending significant time visiting customers — approximately 80% customer-facing/field-based.
- Experience using Salesforce or another CRM system.
- Good understanding of cleanrooms, contamination control, environmental monitoring or regulated manufacturing would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Full Irish driving licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout Ireland.
Personal Attributes
The successful candidate will be:
- Entrepreneurial and commercially minded.
- Highly self-motivated and autonomous.
- Curious about technology and able to learn complex products quickly.
- Customer-focused and relationship driven.
- Confident and professional in front of customers.
- Competitive, ambitious and target driven.
- Creative in identifying new routes to market.
- Comfortable operating within a multinational organisation while taking ownership of the Irish territory.
Package
Base salary: circa €55,000–€65,000, depending on experience and seniority, plus commission/bonus and benefits.
