Qualified Accountant - Kilkenny
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Qualified Accountant to join an established accountancy practice. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors, delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing client relationships, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and review of statutory financial statements, management accounts, and year-end accounts.
  • Managing a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries.
  • Preparation and review of corporation tax, VAT, and income tax returns.
  • Providing proactive business advisory services, including cashflow forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Ensuring compliance with Irish GAAP/FRS and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Liaising directly with clients to provide timely and practical financial guidance.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members where required.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve internal processes and client efficiencies.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience in practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Irish accounting standards and tax compliance.
  • Experience managing a client portfolio.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills.
