An opportunity is available for an experienced and talented Management Accountant to join a growing SME-focused advisory team in Kilkenny, working closely with senior leadership, Partners, and specialist teams to support a diverse client base.

The role involves delivering in-depth financial analysis, advising clients on key business decisions, and supporting long-term financial success across a broad portfolio of SME clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Financial Reviews: Working closely with clients to provide tailored financial insights by analysing both financial and non-financial data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Budgets & Forecasts: Preparing, monitoring, and interpreting budgets and forecasts to support client planning and performance management.
  • Management Accounts: Supporting the preparation of regular management reports, identifying key trends, variances, and opportunities for growth.
  • Benchmarking: Analysing the financial performance of multiple entities and establishing achievable, performance-driven goals for each business.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with senior leadership and specialist teams to deliver a high standard of service to SME clients.

Candidate Profile:
  • CGMA / CPA / ACA / ACCA qualified accountant with a minimum of three years’ experience in a public practice or finance environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to develop and apply management accounting skills effectively.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to translate financial data into clear, strategic insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced professional environment.
  • Proactive approach to learning and ongoing professional development, particularly in management accounting and advisory practices.
