Mould Setter - Permanent – Westmeath
Our client, an established manufacturing facility in Westmeath is currently recruiting for the vacancy of Mould Setter within their Engineering Team.

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Process Engineer , the mould setter will carry mould changes in accordance with the Production Plan ensuring minimum downtime and optimum efficiency. This role will also include elements of process set-up and essential machine set-up.

Duties will include:
Carryout mould changes as required.
Trouble-shoot any processing problems.
Carry out basic maintenance on mould tools and process equipment.
Complete process control documentation.
Carry out mould and material trials as required.
Contribute to on-going improvement programmes.

Who they're looking for?
Leaving Certificate equivalent, 3rd level NCEA Level 6 (Mechanical/plastics engineering) or equivalent preferable.

Experience of injection and blow moulding, preferably but not essential as training will be provided.

Demonstrating Technical ability will be a distinct advantage.
