We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced commercial lead with a strong background in launching products within the oncology division of a global pharmaceutical company. As the commercial lead, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating all technical and promotional activities related to the full omnichannel marketing-mix. Your primary objective will be to ensure the correct and effective implementation of these activities, ultimately driving annual and long-term sales and profit objectives.

In addition to leading the oncology division, you will also be responsible for managing a team within the franchise. Your key accountabilities will include designing short and long-term marketing, field access, and account plans to maximize sales and profit growth.

You will also be responsible for the proper implementation, monitoring, follow-up, and corrective actions of these plans. It will be essential to produce an annual strategic plan and contribute to the compilation of the annual budget.

Your role will involve overseeing the execution of agreed marketing and sales activities to meet the sales and profit objectives outlined in the annual marketing plan. Maintaining a high level of product, therapy, and disease knowledge will be crucial. Additionally, you will assist in evaluating new business opportunities from a marketing and sales perspective. You will be responsible for driving in-market products through their life cycle and ensuring optimal launches for new potential indications or products.

As the commercial lead, you will also play a key role in leading and developing the marketing and sales teams. Your expertise in oncology, combined with your minimum of 8 years of commercial pharma/biotech experience in Ireland, will be invaluable.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial leadership role, specifically leading sales and marketing, is required. Deep knowledge of the Irish oncology healthcare system, including account decision-making unit dynamics, pricing, reimbursement, access, protocols, and formularies, is essential.

To be considered for this position, you should possess a strong academic background, preferably with an MSC, MD, PhD, or MBA degree. Your extensive experience in the field of oncology in Ireland will be highly valued.

If you are a driven and experienced commercial leader with a passion for oncology, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
