Project Manager - Waterford
My client, a medical device manufacturing multinational, is recruiting a Project Manager to join their Engineering team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Creating project plans that outline tasks, timelines and resources; Communicate project plans, risks and issues to the project team and stakeholders;
Monitor progress against scope, schedule and cost;
Improve the overall delivery of a portfolio of projects.
In addition some key duties:
Develop detailed project scopes and objectives.
Ensure technical feasibility of all project tasks.
Coordinate internal resources and those of third parties/ vendors.
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in scope schedule and costs.
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
Review and submit budget estimates, progress and cost tracking reports to management stakeholders
Communicate on all aspects of a project’s progress and escalate issues as appropriate.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Provide guidance on best Project Management techniques.
Be the ‘go to’ person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline
Oversight of a portfolio of major capital projects.
Working with a broad range of internal stakeholders and contractors
Requirements
Education: Bachelor of Engineering (required).
Project Management certification.
PMP qualification from PMI preferred.Specialized Training in areas such as Project Management, Validation or Negotiation preferred.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Project (and related software) for project tracking and communication.
Experience: Total of 5+ years of related, progressive experience.
Knowledge of the compliance requirements of the medical device and related industries.
Demonstrated communication, leadership and organizational skills.
Comfortable managing multiple tasks, a team player and a problem solver.
