Job Description
Force are proud to be supporting an established and successful medical distribution business in their search for an experienced Operations Manager to drive operational improvements.
This role will suit an Operations Manager with demonstrable experience in all/most of the following;
Essential Experience:
Management of supply chain activities including inventory management, warehousing and distribution, ensuring an excellent service is provided to customers.
Responsibility for implementation of projects in line with operational improvements and identifying on-going developments.
Development of the supply chain infrastructure and capabilities operated by the business.
Management, development, and motivation of staff.
Driving operational excellence and efficiencies across the business.
Development of the quality management systems in line with growth and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Management of the inventory function & working capital investment in stocks across the business.
Cost control and reduction strategies across the supply chain
Management and development of the physical infrastructure deployed by the business to ensure optimum utilisation.
Management of the IT functions of the business as they relate to supply chain activities and in line with market trends and best practice.
Management of the Risk Management process across the business to ensure risks of disruption to the supply chain activities are minimised through planning and risk reduction measures.
