Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Brand Manager to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to enhance our brand presence in both D2C and B2B markets. The Brand Manager will oversee all aspects of brand management, including creating and managing product launches and ensuring consistent messaging and brand positioning across various platforms.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Brand Manager role involves the management of a portfolio of products and developing and deploying best-in-class marketing activation plans.

Main Accountabilities include;

  • Work with and feed into long-term strategic brand plans providing expertise on local market, consumer, shopper and competitive landscape.

  • Development of optimum PR and influencer strategy to drive brand agenda.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote brands in both D2C and B2B markets.

  • Create and implement brand guidelines to ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels.

  • Conduct market research to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms.

  • Monitor and analyse marketing campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders, and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external agencies, vendors, and partners, to ensure effective execution of marketing initiatives.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in brand management and marketing to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Create marketing collateral, sales tool kits, and presentations that effectively communicate the brand value proposition to trade customers and prospects.

  • Manage New Product Development launches.

  • Brand guardian and responsible for managing brand assets.

  • Be responsible for sign-off and approval of all communication material.

  • Manage brand budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve marketing objectives and maximize return on investment.

Profile Requirements

  • University Degree in Business or Marketing.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Min 3 years’ experience in relevant marketing/ commercial role.

  • Demonstrated cycle of success in brand strategy management.

  • Creative thinker with a strong eye for design and attention to detail.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Proficient in using marketing tools and software.

  • Knowledge of B2B and B2C marketing trends, best practices, and industry regulations.
