BRAND MANAGER – BEAUTY SKINCARE / OTC

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Brand Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to enhance our brand presence in both B2B and B2C markets. The Brand Manager will oversee all aspects of brand management, including digital and traditional marketing campaigns, to ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning across various platforms.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Brand Manager role involves the management a portfolio of products, developing and deploying best in class local marketing activation plans. There is a both B2B and B2C element to this role.

Main Accountabilities include;

  • Work with and feed into long-term strategic brand plans providing expertise on local market, consumer, shopper and competitive landscape.

  • Identify risks and opportunities either short or long-term that may impact brand.

  • Development of optimum PR and influencer strategy to drive brand agenda.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our brand in both B2B and B2C markets.

  • Create and implement brand guidelines to ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels.

  • Conduct market research to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms, including social media, email marketing, print media, events, and more.

  • Manage and optimize digital marketing channels, including website, social media platforms, SEO, SEM, and display advertising, to drive brand awareness and lead generation.

  • Monitor and analyse marketing campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders, and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external agencies, vendors, and partners, to ensure effective execution of marketing initiatives.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in brand management and marketing to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop marketing collateral, sales tools, and presentations that effectively communicate the brand value proposition to customers and prospects.

  • Optimise New Product Development launches.

  • Brand guardian and responsible for managing brand assets and banks.

  • Be responsible for sign-off and approval of all communication material.

  • Manage brand budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve marketing objectives and maximize return on investment.


Profile Requirements

  • University Degree in Business or Marketing.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and platforms, including social media, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and website management.

  • Min 3 years’ experience in relevant marketing/ commercial role.

  • Demonstrated cycle of success in brand strategy management.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Creative thinker with a strong eye for design and attention to detail.

  • Proficient in using marketing tools and software, such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms.

  • Knowledge of B2B and B2C marketing trends, best practices, and industry regulations.

  • E-commerce experiences an advantage.
