Key Account Manager, Oncology - 5 days per month

Job description

Our client, a global Pharmaceutical company are seeking a Key Account Manager to join their team on a part-time basis. Covering the Republic of Ireland, you will be involved in promoting this business critical Oncology agent 4-5 days per month.This organisation is dedicated in it's efforts to develop therapies across it's Oncology, Immunology and Haematology portfolios. Reporting into the Business Unit Leader, you will be tasked with delivering on the commercial objectives in line with the company product strategy and the country commercial plans. 

Key aspects of the role include:
-  Partnering with cross-functional teams, develop and deliver on a key account management plan that has been developed in line with key role objectives, budget and territory knowledge.
- Consistently achieve and have a hunger to exceed KPIs, sales targets and deliverables.
- Seek out commercial insights from the market/industry/competitor landscape and engage internally to optimise the company commercial strategy.
- Thoroughly understand the key target audience, the HSE healthcare system and the broader market.
- Understand and remain abreast of product promotional material. 
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders in the territory and consistently seek out opportunities to nurture new business relationships. 
- Engage with the regulatory requirements of reporting adverse events, and engage with Pharmacoviglance and medical information colleagues as appropriate. 
- Ensure compliance with the IPHA/ABPI Codes of Practice. 
- Embody the company values in all interactions, report as agreed on performance and engage with additional tasks where required. 

Key requirements: 
- Life Sciences or Healthcare tertiary qualification 
- Secondary Care Sales experience, ideally within Oncology and a track record of delivering to sales targets.
- New product launch would be highly advantageous, particularly within Oncology and secondary care.
- Thorough understanding of the HSE hospital environment, key stakeholders and pathways for tender approval.
- Comfortable with IT systems, financial reporting and sales reporting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in developing, nurturing and engaging with Key Opinion Leaders.
