Manufacturing Supervisor,  Westmeath, Permanent

Scope:
Manage and control resources to ensure the production plan is achieved while maintaining the safety, quality, and cost targets in place.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and communicate the daily production workload, delegating duties to Chargehand, Material Handler and Production Operators.

• Supervise to ensure adherence to safety and operating procedures, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Line Clearance.

• Ensure all non-conforming events are dealt with through Non-Conformance Procedure and manage the NCR process in conjunction with the QA Technician.

• Perform set up activities for primary and secondary equipment and relevant paperwork as required.

• Troubleshoot on primary and secondary processes as required.

• Verify all applicable paperwork associated with batch records are properly completed in line with cGMP.

• Complete work to close out CAPAs and Change Controls as may be required.

• Report production and quality metrics at the end of the shift and daily production meeting.

• Continually review production methods/operating procedures with a view toimproving efficiency, quality and visual management.

• Ensure employees receive appropriate training and that this training is documented.

• Develop machines manuals and other documentation as required.

• Effectively manage holidays, absence & timekeeping and provide feedback to
  employees on performance

• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained to the highest standard.

• Implement 5S activities to improve visual factor
