Marketing Executive – OTC / Beauty / Cosmetic / Wellness

Role Overview
Our client is seeking a talented and ambitious Marketing Executive as part of their growing marketing team to increase brand awareness and grow sales for their OTC, and Beauty product ranges. They will assist the marketing team in the next phrase of their business plans and be part of their ongoing expansion projects. This position is located in Co. Westmeath and reports to the Head of Marketing.
The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, a self-starter who knows how to juggle multiple priorities, simultaneously and effectively.
Main Accountabilities include;

  • Support the Management Team to deliver on the group strategy and the function KPIs.

  • Co-ordinate marketing campaigns from planning and implementation through to executing and reporting. This includes working with external agencies and key stakeholders to agree go to market message, target markets, campaign tactics, and management of campaigns.

  • Support the development of brand plans and execution through distribution and sales channels.

  • Point of contact for trade marketing support for branding, advertising, and promotions with local and international distributors.

  • Creation of brand collateral and POS for network of distributors and management.

  • Co-ordinate product packaging, including product updates, new line extensions and NPD with graphic designers and manufacturers. Adhering to brand guidelines and regulations.

  • Liaising with external design agencies, print, PR, and digital companies.

  • Creation and development of brand asset banks and management for the network of local and international distributers.

  • Competitor comparison across OTC and beauty markets.

  • Social media monitoring to discover new opportunities, talent and fit for product range and ideas for creating engaging content across all channels.

  • Relationship building with relevant bloggers and influencers.

  • Organise and attend brand events, tradeshows, product launches, retail/wellness, and online/offline events.

  • Create engaging and relevant content for a variety of touchpoints such as website, blogs, customer success stories – written and video etc.

  • Assisting the marketing team with a range of activities.

  • Ensure brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.

  • Be creative and innovative in increasing marketing standards, implementing consistency, and taking advantage of marketing and PR opportunities.

Profile Requirements

  • University Degree in Business or Marketing.

  • 2+ years of hands-on marketing experience in a B2B role or similar.

  • Event co-ordination experience.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Enthusiasm for learning and staying up-to-date with marketing trends.

  • Self – Starter who knows how to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously and effectively.

  • A creative eye and attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of the pharmacy, healthcare and beauty industry desired but not essential.
