Job description
Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - Ireland
Reporting to: Head of Medical UK and Ireland (UK/IRL
Field Based
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain deep knowledge of Neurology their management, and the Irish healthcare system.
Build and maintain credible relationships with Key External Experts (KEEs) and academic centers for timely access to evolving medical and scientific insights.
Deliver scientific presentations to healthcare professionals and KEEs, ensuring compliance with SOPs.
Implement KEE management plans for current therapeutic areas.
Collaborate with Market Access colleagues to provide scientific data to payers and decision-makers.
Gather insights and ensure integration into relevant strategies.
Contribute medically within brand teams and collaborate on initiatives.
Train Lundbeck personnel on disease areas and products as needed.
Provide field-based support for the Medical Information team’s inquiries.
Oversee local planning and execution of IITs and Phase 4 trials, and present proposals at NIS/IIT Committee meetings.
Act as local SDA coordinator, managing named-patient supplies of unlicensed medicines.
Liaise with signatory companies and contribute to the local sign-off process for Lundbeck activities.
Ensure transparent documentation and disclosure of interactions with HCPs, HCOs, and POs.
Collaborate on maintaining, revising, and reviewing local SOPs, and provide necessary training.
Serve as back-up for UK & Ireland LuDo Coordinator if needed.
Support Quality Management System activities, including audits, deviation trends, and change control management.
Adhere to all SOPs, Irish regulations, IPHA/EFPIA Codes of Practice, ABPI Code (if applicable), and other relevant regulatory requirements.
