Oncology Key Account Manager – Field Based (Ireland)

As an Oncology Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting licensed oncology products within your assigned territory, working closely with key stakeholders across the healthcare system.

Location: Field-based role, Ireland

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and communicate the value of licensed oncology products to key healthcare professionals, including hospital oncologists, specialist nurses, pharmacists, payors, and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Achieve sales targets by effectively positioning products and ensuring their appropriate and compliant use in oncology settings.

  • Develop and execute robust territory and account plans in collaboration with cross-functional colleagues.

  • Manage and develop key oncology accounts in line with company strategy and individual customer needs.

  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships to support successful oncology product promotion.

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to support oncology product launches and ongoing brand growth.


About You

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • University degree in Business, Science, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of the science behind oncology therapies.

  • Proven experience as a Therapeutic Specialist or Key Account Manager within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Recent experience in a hospital-based oncology sales role.

  • Demonstrated track record of consistent sales success.

  • Proficient in using modern digital tools to support multi-channel engagement.

  • Ability to identify, access, and influence key oncology decision-makers within a territory.

Desirable Experience

  • Prior experience working specifically within oncology.

  • Involvement in oncology hospital specialty care product launches.

  • Understanding of oncology stakeholders, funding pathways, and the local healthcare system.

  • Awareness of environmental, health, and safety considerations related to the role.
