Operations Support Specialist

Job description

As an Operations Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support within the organisation, with a particular focus on supporting the Temporary Recruitment Division. Your attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to multitask will be essential in supporting projects and operations effectively.
Responsibilities

  • Support the development and operations of the Temporary Recruitment division

  • Directly engaging candidates using traditional and creative sourcing methods, including social media creating a pipeline for future roles

  • Creating and Posting job advertisements in liaison with marketing Executive

  • Actively headhunt, approach and interview candidates developing a network of candidates

  • Screening candidates over the phone, by email, in person and/or via Teams.

  • Manage and update the company CRM database to ensure that all details are documented correctly.

  • Completing onboarding and reference checks for new starters alongside HR Administrator

  • Supporting training requirements of candidates in preparation for future positions

  • Supporting in Client Account Management

  • Supporting in Business Development and attracting new clients & candidates.

  • Prioritising own workload to ensure that demands are met within the appropriate timescales.

  • To be an effective communicator at all levels, both within and outside the business.

  • Assist with the implementation of processes and procedures business wide 

  • Handling all incoming calls to the desk, assisting with all queries in a timely, professional manner

  • Support the Operations Director in the development and management of other key projects such as Graduate Programme, MSL Academy, HR Services Division, or other key strategic projects.

  • To work towards KPI’s and follow targets and objectives.

  • Support the monitoring and analysing of operational performance metrics,

  • Other duties as required


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in operations support or a similar role.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management.

  • Proficient in using MS Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with stakeholders.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
