Senior Brand Manager

Job description

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies to drive brand awareness, market share, and revenue growth, in alignment with the company's overall business objective.

  • Be constantly aware of current in-depth market analysis to identify market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights, and utilise this information to develop targeted marketing campaigns

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, supply chain and medical affairs, to ensure the successful promotion of products

  • Lead the development of marketing materials, including promotional campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, and educational programs, to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products to healthcare professionals, and other key stakeholders.

  • Monitor the performance of the brand in the market and the performance of all marketing activities including campaigns and tactics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategic adjustments to maximise the brand's success.

  • Manage and allocate the brand's marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource utilisation including effective utilisation of external agencies.

  • Provide the necessary brand updates for inclusion in the quarterly forecasting process to inform the Company’s financial management process.

  • Foster strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and industry partners to enhance brand credibility and visibility within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance standards to ensure all marketing activities adhere to regulatory and ethical guidelines, and company SOP’s.

  • Promote strong team working, a motivational, fun environment and a desire for continuous personal development and in-depth knowledge of the business.

Person Specification

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferable in marketing, business administration, or biological sciences.

Consolidated experience as a Brand Manager within the Pharmaceutical Industry, demonstrating a track record of successful brand growth, budget creation and management and project management.

In depth knowledge and significant experience of working within the IPHA Code of Practice

Strong understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics, including market access, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.

Proven leadership skills to drive collaboration towards shared goals.

Experience as a first line manager to product managers and ancillary staff.

A keen eye for identifying opportunities for brand growth and differentiation.

Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and technologies in the pharmaceutical industry .

Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel with some overseas travel mainly to the UK

A strong track record of being able to deliver results-oriented with a positive action-oriented outlook
