An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced and talented Tax Consultants to join a growing Tax Team in an established professional services firm. This is a client-facing role working closely with senior leadership, partners, and specialist teams to deliver high-quality tax advisory services. You'll be based in whichever Cork office is most convenient for your location.

Key Responsibilities
The Tax Consultant will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive tax planning and advisory services. Responsibilities will include:
  • Providing tax planning advice across all tax heads, including:
    • Succession planning and business restructurings for privately owned businesses and partnerships
    • Property transactions, including VAT advisory
    • Company incorporations and structuring
  • Managing ad-hoc queries relating to income tax, corporation tax, VAT, and stamp duty
  • Identifying opportunities for practice development and additional client services
  • Supporting Partners and senior team members on tax engagements
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships through proactive engagement and high-quality service delivery
Skills & Experience
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
  • AITI/CTA qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a tax consultancy role within a medium or large practice
  • Ideally ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualified
  • Strong technical knowledge across all tax heads
  • Ability to work independently, analyse complex issues, and deliver practical solutions
  • Commercially aware with a business-focused mindset
  • Proven ability to develop and manage client relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
