Finance Manager

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly capable and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial health of a growing organisation. The role is responsible for financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and risk management, ensuring financial operations are compliant, efficient, and aligned with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyse financial data and trends to support decision-making.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and financial metrics.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Produce timely and accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.

Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Manage departmental budgets and monitor expenditures.
  • Conduct variance analysis and recommend cost-saving initiatives.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds.
  • Manage banking relationships and optimise working capital.

Investment & Strategic Support

  • Conduct financial evaluations of new projects, investments, and opportunities.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Risk Management & Controls

  • Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain robust internal controls and ensure data integrity.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business strategy.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required).
  • Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in financial management or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards; experience in Mergers & Acquisitions desirable.
  • Proficiency in financial software.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor a team.

Working Hours: 8.30am – 5pm (Office based)
