EHS Senior Specialist – General Safety, High Risk Work & Contractor Management
Location: Co. Dublin | Sector: Pharmaceutical / Process Industry

A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking an experienced EHS Senior Specialist to join their Environmental Health & Safety team. This role focuses on general safety, high-risk work programs (e.g. LOTO, confined space, electrical safety), and contractor management.

You will provide expert guidance to ensure compliance with Irish H&S legislation, company standards, and industry best practices. The successful candidate will be a proven EHS professional with strong influencing and communication skills, a “safety first” mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related field

• 7+ years' EHS or related industry experience (chemical, pharma, process)

• Strong knowledge of Irish H&S legislation

• Experience with high-risk work programs and contractor safety

• Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and support cross-functional projects

Responsibilities include:

• SME for general and high-risk safety programs

• EHS support for capital projects and operations

• Audits, inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments

• Reporting on EHS KPIs and supporting continuous improvement
