We offer a variety of tailor-made solutions to distribution, sales and marketing for the purpose of representing manufacturers of OTC, supplements, pharmaceutical, skincare and beauty products.

We are looking for a skilled Pharmacy and FMCG Key Account Manager who is seeking to join a highly successful company with progressive plans for future growth. As Key Account Manager you’ll will be working with the entire product portfolio in our OTC & Supplements Categories. You will have the freedom to create and develop strong customer relations with existing and new B2B clients across a range Channels.
As the Pharmacy Key Account Manager you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the relationships of the company’s key customers.  
The ideal candidate will have experience building strong relationships with strategic customers. You will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company’s solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction.
You will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market share of products by:

  • Delivering excellent Product education to respective Key Account Pharmacy teams, through effective internal and external collaboration.

  • Activating trade marketing/promotional opportunities to maximise sales growth.

  • Maintaining pricing records and implement price increases as required

  • Ensuing regular review of promotions and monitor the ROI

  • Analysing account performance and forecast demand according to trends, seasonality and promotions.

  • Leading the development of the sales strategy for pharmacy products in conjunction with the Commercial Director, establishing budgets and revenue targets to contribute to the achievement of our national sales target.

  • Providing account management of our key accounts by creating annual plans and engaging with key customers and opinion leaders ensuring optimum levels of customer engagement.

  • Business Development: Acquisition of new accounts in target

  • Work closely with Sales Manager and the Territory Sales Managers and Central team to provide input on Sales & Marketing initiatives,

  • Working closely with brand partners, principals & marketing teams.

  • Maintain external awareness of markets, products, processes, competitors

  • Maintenance of necessary customer trackers for key brands & products

  • Own the trading and strategic relationship with customers and will be responsible for continuing the growth of your portfolio.

Essential Skills

  • Strong Key Account management, ideally with experience within a similar product category or sector.

  • Min 2 years’ experience of customer development and key account management in the pharmacy & FMCG sector

  • Strong communicator capable of building strong working relationship

  • Strong P&L and forecasting skills

  • Proven history of developing and implementing successful business plans with key customers at head office level.

  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, influencing ability with commercial acumen.

  • Evidence of negotiation skills and strategic growth contribution required

  • Resilience, drive and drive & track record of delivering outstanding results

  • Has the ability to look at a brand and form a plan of how to grow that in the Key accounts

  • Financially competent and highly analytical

  • Highly self-motivated with a can do attitude.

  • Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint.

  • Full Clean Drivers License

  • 3rd Level Qualifications
