Force have partnered with one of the leading contracts manufacturing client based in Mullingar, who is currently on a look out for an IT Support Engineer.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing the automation of system and application installations
• Maintenance of the ServiceDesk ticketing system
• Managing the work of the subordinate team
• Managing backup systems for workstations and laptops
• Managing IT resources and planning their procurement
• Leading and participating in internal IT projects
• Second-level user support using the helpdesk system
• Oversight of office and production applications
• Diagnosing hardware and software issues
• Ensuring IT system security based on best practices
• Creating, organizing, and optimizing IT documentation in English
• Analyzing IT requests and projects for the business
• Training employees in the use of IT systems

Our requirements:

• Higher education (preferably in computer science or electronics)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position
• Communication skills, independence, highly developed interpersonal abilities
• Experience in resolving daily user requests
• Very good command of the English language in both speech and writing
• Ability to work in a team
• Very good organizational skills
• Very good knowledge of server and client systems from the Windows family, MS Office suite, and backup systems
• Good knowledge of computer hardware, network solutions, and scripting languages
• Proactive attitude and creativity in creating new solutions

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in IT resource management
• Experience working with GAMP/FDS and validated systems
